  When my friend Leonardo told me about his new project and asked if I'd like to be part of it, I was hesitant at first – not because I didn't love the idea of intimate home recordings, but because I didn't think me playing alone in my house would be interesting enough to share with the world.
  But the idea of these recordings being snapshots rather than still-lifes – capturing musical moments that usually wouldn't be shared – grew on me.
  I'm very grateful to Leonardo and Elvia for inviting me to this project, for the love they put into it, and for the warm atmosphere they create with everything they do.
  
  "Lullaby" is a song I wrote a long time ago, at a time when I was still too shy to play my songs for strangers and would only share them with my closest friends after one too many drinks. It's one of the few that has survived the years, and the first one that came to mind when thinking of bedroom recordings.
  
  I finished writing "Single Sock" the day of the recording, and every time I finish a new song I think it's fantastic. A week later or so I think it's absolutely crap.
  Usually it takes playing it for a live audience a couple of times to determine where the truth lies, but I guess this time I tried recording instead.
  
  "All Men" is one of my favorites to play live, as it usually gets the most reactions, good or bad. It's also the one of which the most people have asked if I had a recording. So voilà, here we go.
